Daily Basic Obedience Puppy Training focuses on the goals sit, stay and come, down, on-leash skills, boundaries and socialization with other dogs. The Trainers will work with your pup for up to an hour per day depending on your puppy’s capability and attention span. Training can be done while boarding or in daycare.

Our Residential Basic Obedience Training for Puppies program includes full time boarding at Topanga Pet Resort for three weeks, with two sessions with our trainers per day.

The owner/handler will be asked to participate in a training session lesson once a week at our facility. Owner participation in the training process is essential and the goal of these sessions is to ensure that the owner understands how to continue with commands that the dog has learned while in residential training, and to transfer these new skills into the dog’s home environment. Not available for ESS dogs.
