Dog Training & Dog Boarding Policies
For every dog’s safety, ALL dogs entering and exiting Topanga Pet Resort must be on a leash or in a carrier.
We provide comfortable, clean bedding and blankets for your pup which adhere to our strict standards. We will no longer be accepting any personal belongings such as beds, blankets, toys, etc. due to health and safety, and sanitary reasons. You are welcome to bring a disposable t-shirt or hand towel for separation anxiety issues. We use customized safety collars and leads, therefore all carriers, leashes, collars, and harnesses will be returned to the owner during check in.
In order to protect your pet’s health, Topanga Pet Resort requires that all pets boarding have the following vaccinations:
All pets checked into Topanga Pet Resort are checked for fleas and ticks on arrival. Any pet checking in with fleas, ticks or flea dirt will be bathed upon entrance at the owner’s expense.
No charge if reservation is cancelled more than a week in advance. If cancellation is done less than a week prior to boarding, there will be a two night’s boarding charge. (During holidays we require cancellations to be made at least two weeks prior to boarding.)
Topanga Pet Resort reserves the right to make alternative boarding accommodation suggestions if deemed appropriate, such as recommending medical boarding if the dog is experiencing a medical condition prior or during the boarding period that would require veterinary care and/or supervision or a restricted confinement to limit physical movement due to an illness or medical condition.
